Ojos del Salado volcano also called the highest volcano in the world, is located in the Atacama Desert, around 900 km. north of Santiago, near Copiapo City in Chile. This impressive volcano located in the hearth of high plateau (altiplano) is surrounding by salt lakes and many of others big mountains and other volcanoes. This is the second highest mountain outside Asia. We will enjoy one of the most spectacular mountaineering places in Chile, composed of many colors in a full isolation of large cities.

This is a extreme and demanding expedition, due we reached a altitude of 6,980m above sea level. The climate have many contrast, from warm days to extreme cold at night. We must be in very good shape to walk properly at high altitude in a rocky path, hard snow specially on summit day.
